Jan 30th 2022 we left Tūranganui a Kiwa to begin our lives living on the road travelling around Aotearoa nz in a motorhome. These are our adventures!

I grew up in a village and I remember often playing in the bush, making my home there and collecting blackberries that never made it home! I’ve always felt like I’m a part of nature so it’s no surprise that everything I am, that I create connects back to the whenua (earth) and taiao (environment) in some way. This is why I love travel; I love adventures as I used to have mini adventures as a child every day. And being in nature was always a part of that. Before Covid happened we were heading overseas, we wanted to see the world while we were still youngish and able. But then things changed, so when Aotearoa opened up again, we decided to travel our own country beginning in Te Wai Pounamu. And here we are, now living in our motorhome, travelling Aotearoa, NZ and loving it!

My journey in the arts began many years ago as a teenager but, I was encouraged by my father (also an artist) to find a career that would be more reliable to bring in an income. This led me to study to become a teacher and for the next 20 + years I would dedicate my life to this field.
In 2008 I decided that I wanted to rekindle my love for the arts again and began to pursue this passion.
Nearly 10 years later, this is the result of that journey.
